ISB 5.9L PUSHER: The ultimate engineering feat for 24-valve Cummins pushers, PowerPack, adds Banks High-Ram air-inlet casting to the Stinger® platform. With additional airflow and boost available to the intake valves through this final improvement, massive torque is ready to come to attention instantly. At 34 psi, PowerPack’s peak boost measures 36% better than stock. Banks PowerPack system unleashes colossal gains to +63 hp and +142 lb-ft torque, and by making the most of engine efficiency, you save an average of 10% in fuel usage.

High-Ram  air-inlet casting
Banks' streamlined, cast-metal High-Ram air inlet replaces the factory's smaller, angular piece for a 56% reduction in pressure loss. Greater boost on the intake side—without increased backpressure at the turbine—makes the engine more responsive and fuel-efficient.

OttoMind  Diesel Tuner
OttoMind calibrates fuel delivery and injection timing to maintain proper air-fuel ratio. The result is power with safe exhaust gas temperature, prolonged durability and optimal fuel economy. Built-in AutoRate® automatically adjusts the power output to a safe level for prevailing conditions. AutoRate allows maximum torque gains without exceeding powertrain capacity … maintains exhaust gas and turbine inlet temperatures within Cummins' recommendations … and maintains proper peak boost and fuel delivery at all RPMs. OttoMind’s ActiveSafety® features further safeguard the engine and transmission with safety circuits and self-diagnostics.

Quick-Turbo  assembly
Banks developed the Quick-Turbo in conjunction with the Holset turbocharger and Cummins Engine companies, to eliminate sluggishness "out of the hole" and produce strong acceleration. Quick-Turbo produces massive torque right from idle, achieves a higher peak faster, maintains more boost through the powerband, and doesn't over-boost. Banks' exclusive BigHead® wastegate actuator prevents "wastegate blow-open" by keeping the valve seated at higher pressures, increasing mid-range torque and top-end power.

DynaFact  gauges
Banks’ exclusive DynaFact electronic gauges offer precision that can’t be matched by mechanical gauges. The pyrometer provides exhaust-gas temperature (EGT) measurements that are accurate within ±15° F at maximum operating temperatures. The pyro's spring-loaded, jeweled movement is resistant to vibration and sports a lit, easy-to-read 0-1500° F face. Banks' 0-50 psi boost gauge monitors power and turbo performance. Includes 2-gauge mounting panel. Top-mount and/or pillar-mount options available.

Stinger System

ISB 5.9L PUSHER: The new Cummins 24-valve ISB 5.9s produce power more efficiently than earlier generations, but Banks still found room for significant improvement. Stinger's Quick-Turbo assembly with BigHead actuator gets the factory-turbo "on boost" faster, and attains a higher peak. Banks OttoMind TLC power-train control unit features electronic functions that perfect air-fuel ratio, maintain exhaust gas temperatures (EGT), and tune low-end torque for strong acceleration and load-pulling capability. Banks Stinger kicks in gains to +40 hp, +92 lb-ft torque, plus improved mileage.
